Medical Office Assistant Bridging Program

About the Program

CCHAP’s Medical Office Assistant Bridging Certificate is designed for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and graduates of health or life sciences programs who are looking to upskill and transition into administrative roles in healthcare. As a certificate program, it offers a shorter, more targeted curriculum than a diploma, focusing specifically on the essential skills needed to work in medical office environments such as clinics, hospitals, and private practices.

Students gain practical training in areas like medical office procedures, appointment scheduling, billing systems, and electronic health records management. Graduates will be prepared for positions such as Medical Office Assistant or Medical Receptionist.
