Certified Advanced Phlebotomy and Vascular Access Specialist (CPVS) Preparation Program

About the Program

The “Certified Advanced Phlebotomy and Vascular Access Specialist (CPVS)” Prep Program is designed for learners who want to build structured knowledge and practical skills in phlebotomy, venipuncture, and intravenous therapy. CCHAP’s training prep comprises the Phlebotomy Certificate and the Intravenous Therapy Micro-Credential, which together support safe, patient-centred practice and professional development in healthcare settings.

Students complete the pathway in two stages: first, they complete the learning for our Phlebotomy Certificate (39 hours), followed by the Intravenous Therapy Micro-Credential (39 hours). Together these programs prepare CPVS aspirants in phlebotomy practice, IV access, and related clinical responsibilities.

Important: Training vs. Certification
